VISSTRO

OPERATIONAL CONTINUITY

What happens when the connection drops.

This page explains what VISSTRO does while connectivity is down, what happens when it returns, and where the current offline scope ends.

WHAT VISSTRO DOES

Two verified mechanisms, explained one at a time.

In plain terms: if your internet connection drops, here are the specific order and tender workflows that keep working offline, and what happens the moment connectivity returns.

Orders taken while the connection is down are stored durably. Once the connection returns, those orders are submitted.

Supported Cash/Card tenders taken while the connection is down are captured. Once the connection returns, supported tenders are reconciled.

CURRENT SCOPE

Current offline scope.

Offline scope currently covers order durability and supported Cash/Card tender capture. Offline Mixed Tender, Split Bill and Refund are not part of the current scope.

A branching diagram: Connection Drops leads to two offline-supported states — Offline order durability and Offline Cash/Card tender capture — which both converge at Connection Returns. From there the two paths stay distinct: Offline orders submit, and Supported tenders reconcile. When connectivity drops, VISSTRO can durably capture orders and supported Cash/Card tenders. When connectivity returns, offline orders are submitted and supported tenders are reconciled.

Connection Drops branches into Offline order durability and Offline Cash/Card tender capture. Both converge at Connection Returns, after which offline orders submit and supported tenders reconcile.
